I have also emailed the translator, Jorge González. He might have a user here but I don't know which one is him.

A translate to spanish may be:

"Se aplica al item seleccionado. Dependiendo del item, esto puede crear un documento nuevo o abrir uno existente."

You might contact the spanish translator, as listed in the es.po file. I'm not sure how translation bugs should generally be reported. It will certainly be forgotten about if you just add it to another closed bug.

    + Temporarily remember the sort order so it is the same when navigating
      away and back (LP: #303422)
    + Use the list's sort order for the top-level records in the report
      (LP: #303425)
    + Users/Groups: Disable drag-and-drop for the treeview, because it is
      useless and confusing (LP: #299573)

  * debian/control, debian/rules, debian/glom-doc.*: Split out
    arch-independent manual and examples into separate package glom-doc, which
    is now recommended by glom (glom will still work if they're not available)
