That's a different request -> please file a separate report for it or subscribe to one of the existing feature requests related to cursor symbols, like e.g.:
Bug #171940 “crosshair cursor”
Bug #172230 “Option of precise cursors for tools”
Bug #654592 “[Feature request] Tool cursor icons as vectors.”

Other proposals (which make use of the current static implementations) are always welcome ;)
