Bug Description

Hallo all inkscape-user,

my suggestion is to make the mouse cursor moving a vertical and a
horizontal guideline (like in CAD-programs). Maybe its not a new idea or a
bad one, but that feature will help to construct things in inkscape!

Maybe a possibility to switch from the traditional one to big crosshair
(like in Corel Draw)?

What exactly is the request? Should the mouse-cursor change when hovering above a guide?
Or, when hovering above both a horizontal and vertical guideline, should the mouse move both guides together?

If you look at the rulers in inkscape, they track the mouse. The request is to have lines extend across the canvas from those arrows on the ruler.
