Bug Description

I may be wrong but there does not seem to be any bzr-svn release that works with bzr 2.0.* yet. I believe the trunk does now work. This is blocking us from getting bzr 2.0.0 in to Karmic (bug 430467), so it would be good to package and release such a version soon.

Sorry, I haven't had as much access to internet in the last few days. 1.0.0rc1 should work with bzr 2.0

Would be nice to get an official tarball on https://launchpad.net/bzr-svn/+download, but the Debian experimental package seems to work fine, and the releases are tagged at least.

It always takes a while for launchpad to pick up new releases. There is an upstream tarball already, see: http://samba.org/~jelmer/bzr/

"pick up"? You have to upload the tarballs manually, they aren't
auto-created from bzr branches.

BTW, this script might interest you for this task:

On the page of each release series you can specify a "Release URL pattern". Launchpad will check this pattern (much like a simplified debian/watch) for new releases. I do create tarballs manually and then always upload to http://samba.org/~jelmer/bzr/, and Launchpad finds and mirrors releases uploaded there.
