Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth

Now bluetooth-properties doesn't crash on start I opened it hoping to be able to turn off my bluetooth interface. Not finding any such option (itself a UI oddity) I checked the Help button.

It described that the bluetooth applet's menu, that you get when clicking on the applet, will have a "Turn Off Bluetooth" option.

But there isn't one. Nor is there the shaded menu item showing whether it's on already.

This is a problem with the permissions of /dev/rfkill. I changed it to 666 and it works now.

"Turn Off Bluetooth" worked well since I installed 9.10. But that menu item is no more visible in the applet today, it is gone! I am not aware of changes to my system, except using the Update Manager yesterday.
