Bug Description

Binary package hint: gedit

Ubuntu 8.04
Gedit 2.22.1

When viewing a print preview of a plain text file, if the cursor remains
stationary for a few seconds, a small yellow pop-up appears, stating
"Page 2 of 5", or something similar. However, after the cursor is moved,
the pop-up fails to disappear as expected. It remains there until you
left-click on the preview or move the cursor off of the application.
Although I doubt this is done on purpose, it is annoying. Nothing big,
just thought I would let you know.

I have attached a screenshot. Unfortunately, the cursor does not show up when you take a screenshot; however, the cursor was actually about 6 or 7 inches away from the yellow popup.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a text file with gedit.
2. Go to Print Preview.
3. Leave the cursor over the body of the text for a second or two until a yellow pop-up shows displaying the page number.
4. Move the cursor, but keep it over the body of the text.
5. The pop-up does not disappear as expected.
