Bug Description

When installing hardy with fai (3.2.4+svn4837-0ubuntu1)
fai tries to mount the mirror without -n option causing the installation to fail.
(mount tries to access /etc/mtab which is only a double symlink to readonly /proc/self/mounts)

The changelog of 3.2.1-0ubuntu2~ppa1~gutsy1 has an entry that claims to fix this problem
but in 3.2.4+svn4837-0ubuntu1 this problem exists.

The bug is not actually that mount tries to write /etc/mtab, but that unionfs is broken and doesn't allow you to "edit" existing files. See bug 197006.

adding -n to the mount options for 'ro' mounts helps here. will be added to the next upload
