[Ubuntu] [hardy] openoffice splash shows incorrect version in hardy

I will have this fixed in the next upload, I just need to get the correct artwork from Ken our Ubuntu artwork guy. :-)

Just in case: the About box is also wrong

Yeah, I can confirm Mario's comment that this also affects the About dialog. I imagine this is the same bug.

the status of this bug indicates that a fix has been committed. on my laptop though (hardy installed with kde 3.5.9) the error persists...

Hello Andrea, thanks for your comment. You may want to read up on what the different statuses mean at https://help.launchpad.net/BugStatuses. Fix Committed means that the bug has been fixed in the local project, in this case openoffice.org, but does not indicate the fixed package has made it to the public yet. Once the updated project has been packaged and released to Ubuntu, then it will have a status of Fix Released and this is when you should expect an update to resolve your issue. Hopefully this helps clear things up.

I am actually using the bug status slightly differently but to the same effect. Fix Committed in this case means its committed in the Ubuntu bzr repo for the next upload which will then change the status to Fix Released.
