Thanks for the request. On an updated Natty, no GPU lockup, since last
post #13, nothing in log files either.

Bug description:
  Symptom: Desktop freeze and reboot loop.

  Kernal unstable, constant black screens of death.

  For the worst effected, how to reproduce:

  1) Make a natty amd64 ubuntu desktop usb boot up disk.
  2) Boot off the drive
  3) Upon the ubuntu live desktop loading the system will go into the freeze
and reboot loop.

  For those who aren't so badly affected it will just appear as an error
  message and they can continue on.
