@artik -- if you are able to use the second screen on the live CD it would be good to get the dmesg output and the contents of all of the files in /sys/class/drm/card0, we may be able to work out why it thinks there is no output for the LVDS.

If only apple would publicise their physical configurations the community would have a hope of keeping any of their kit working.
