I have xorg-sever 1.4.0.90 and xf86-video-intel 2.2.1 .
EXA is not very usefull for me, because X crashes after a while (triggered by a popup in a IM app.). Probably some memory leak. So I must use XAA.
I also do use the
Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "on"
setting in xorg.conf and images are scalled ok.
*Without* the "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "on" option I have the bug.

I don't think WONTFIX is acceptable, not all of Fx users will upgrade their distro right-away.
