I've put together a small exe-file that only runs the iso creation algorithm, with a lot more logging than usually. It would be useful if some of you who have troubles with this would download and run this test application. Save the exe-file on your hard drive, put a disc into your CD/DVD drive and run the exe in a command prompt with the drive letter of your CD/DVD device as the only argument (eg "cd2iso D"). It will create a log file called "cd2iso-log.txt". Post your log file here if you think it might be useful! If this test application works better than Wubi for you (ie gives no error messages) that would be very interesting to know, but I don't think it will.
