Comment 43 for bug 580295

A new entry called 'runner' has been added to the applications place:

DBusObjectPath=/com/canonical/unity/applicationsplace/runner
_Name=Commands
ShowGlobal=False
ShowEntry=False

It should be accessible by pressing Alt+F2

For Unity 2D to support it properly, a few things need to happen:
- the Alt+F2 keyboard shortcut needs to be bound to it
- the launcher should respect the ShowEntry= setting
- the dash should respect the ShowGlobal= setting
