You can see the conflicting inventories directly (if you install my bzr-cross-check plugin) with:

$ bzr cross-check bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/debian/sid/ifenslave-2.6/sid bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/debian/squeeze/ifenslave-2.6/squeeze

You'll get this output:

That revision was apparently created by the Bazaar Package Importer. So in addition to fixing whatever is generating inventories inconsistently, we'll need to repair existing repositories with the wrong data, probably both on Launchpad and users' systems :(
