Ubuntu One Software Doesn't Start

Bug Description

I have a problem with ubuntu one software. It doesnt open. It says "There was a problem starting the ubuntuone-syncdaemon. This may be a bug in the software. Please click on the Ubuntu One icon in your panel to report a bug". The icon displays 2-3 seconds in the panel and its disappear.
By the way /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/ubuntuone-client-applet and /usr/bin/python /usr/lib/ubuntuone-client/ubuntuone-syncdaemon is still working in the background. But no gui of the software..

Hi,

The icon is no longer intended to persist in the Panel. We're in the middle of fine tuning the final behavior. Thanks very much for your feedback on this.

The screenshoted error is actually reflecting a python traceback that is occurring on startup in some cases, and is not related to the disappearance of the icon. ( bug #416534).
