Comment 2 for bug 397749

Something similar to how indicator applet adds itself to the panel can be done ...
 i-a uses the /usr/share/gnome-panel/add-indicator-applet.py

This allows i-a to be added only once for every new user created and doesnt add the applet again.

Its really frustrating to have a bookmark for some location which i dont use often.!
