@papukaija: it seems you're over optimistic about the status of this bug. Actually the only thing working right now in Maverick is syncing notes with Tomboy... there is no way to connect to Ubuntu One with the preferences applet if you're behind a proxy. It's just totally unusable.

It's quite sad when you think Dropbox has always worked flawlessly behind a corporate proxy, and that's since it ever existed, way back in 2008 I think...
