At university we have a Proxy for wired connections:
Mac Filtering, No Authentication, Port 8080, Proxy not transparent

some ports, such as the one used for facebook-chat, appear to be open without proxy, but not many.

(WLAN uses the same proxy + cysco anyconnect VPN)
