Dear Rodney,
After two and a half years since this bug was reported I doubt there are still any doubts remaining about its roots.
This bug is getting people VERY angered. This is the only valuable place to show that and to demonstrate the importance this has for the users.
I know that the responsibility of the delayed resolution is not yours but your attitude is not good PR.
Please give us an update about the resolution status and tell us if you need some specific help...
Is there anybody already working on this?
