Hi,

I had installed Kubuntu 8.10 and was not able to connect to our wireless router which has WPA2-PSK security configuration.

My computer was disconnecting by printing the following debug message:
wlan0: disassociating from by local choice (reason=3)

After installing package
(i386): https://edge.launchpad.net/%7Enetwork-manager/+archive/+files/network-manager-gnome_0.7~~svn20081020t000444-0ubuntu1~nm1_i386.deb

Suggested by Alexander Sack (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/272185/comments/56) I was able to connect.
