I gave this a try and it worked. After turning on broadcast on my linksys wireless cable/dsl router I connect right away. I am using a D-LINK DWL-G650 cardbus card.

I really do not like having my AP visible. Is there a known bug tracking the fix of this at either the driver or NM level?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement card that does not have this issue?
