Release notes for the Atheros issue will be handled via bug #284354, which includes more information about the solution being taken for 8.10.

This bug's title also mentions Orinoco, but the only mention of Orinoco in the bug log is a successful test result by Steve Beattie. Is there any reason to mention Orinoco in the release notes? It doesn't look like it, given that there's no concrete evidence here that it's broken.
