As I said earlier ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/249448/comments/52 ), my mouse only fails to reconnect.

When it does fail, this always work:

1. Turn off bluetooth mouse
2. Go to bluetooth preferences
3. Set to 'temporary available'
4. turn on bluetooth mouse, wait for it to reconnect
5. set back to 'always visible'
