Me too. Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) Beta Release LiveCD session AMD64. The bug is still present...

My hardware (stated at the first posts of this bug report):
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600
Memory: 4GB RAM
VGA: 8800GTS 320MB
Motherboard: Asus Commando.
Monitor: Philips 200WS (TFT-LCD 20.1", 1680x1050, using DVI connector).
