sorry for the semi-newb question here: can someone explain how to do those patches in simple English? Am severely lost on it.

Also FYI: not sure where/how to print the actual error, so forgive the typing here:

xserver-xorg-core conflicts with xserver-xorg-video-4
xserver-xorg-video-mga provides xserver-xorg-video-4 and is to be installed.

Can someone translate?
