Btw I have had a crash during normal usage of the desktop (no xv apps - as far as I know), the xorg.log and kernel log indicated that it's the same problem (exactly the same messages). I am not sure however that it was not caused by some xv apps, but as far as I know it wasn't that at that time at least ...
