It seems to basically contains the information already posted in this bug, but presented (in a much clearer way).

I am surprised that this bug is "undecided". Maybe I do not understand the meaning of this field.

I am also surprised that any distribution keeps distributing such new, totally untested software from Intel. Every time I upgrade Ubuntu it is becoming more and more difficult to make my laptop usable.
