I have built some test kernels with FBC disabled for the GM45 hardware reported here. If those of you affected by this flickering issue could test these kernels and report back here that would be great. Please remember to test without the i915.powersave=0 override else the test is meaningless. The kernels are uploading now and will be at the URL below shortly:
