mdz, I've forwarded this bug upstream to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22336 - Eric wants the dump to be generated in a different way, could you follow his directions to collect a dump using INTEL_DEBUG=sync and post the results on the upstream bug?

Re the full screen aspect, it could be coincidental, but sort of jumped out. As Eric says, the only way to know exactly what's going on is to check the dump output.
