You were right, that blend file managed to lockup my system faster than I could say: "I hate proprietary software".
Also even with a simple object e.g. the default cube, it crashed instantly when I dragged a nautilus window on top of it.
BTW, for my "Device" section in my xorg.conf all I see is "Configured Video Card" is that normal? I think its something new as I have only seen it in Hardy.
