Still getting the same problem. At first when I upgraded to Hardy, I got an update for the intel driver. After that, the freezes that i would usually get stopped. Tried all that triggered it before, but did not happen. Thus, I thought it was solved. However, recently i installed blender, and was just creating some objects then rotating the view and it just happened. This time however, there is no cursor like there was before and on my laptop the keyboard does not work. All i can do is turn off then back on. My laptop is HP Compaq 6710b with x3100 intel graphics card and 1gb ram. Hope this bug is resolved soon...
