Fresh installed Hardy 8.04 LTS on a Dell Latitude D830. No compiz, no other schnickschnack. Blender crashes after some minutes of using it. Sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after one hour. Screen is black, no key is responding. One time the mouse pointer was still visible and movable. I always have to do a reset. This is annoying.
