I have the same issue, it crash in some compiz animations.

I'm running on Lenovo T61 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM.
OS: Ubuntu 8.04
Linux Kernel: 2.6.24-19-generic
Graphic card: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)
