Just testing Jaunty 9.04 alpha-2 with my Omnibook 6200. Problem still exists, but I can make DRI and Powernowd work together by using p4-clockmode as advised in bug #80459. Should this be enabled by default for Pentium-4 laptops? This same hack works in Intrepid also.
I have installed latest Ubuntu releases with battery power only, and then make Powernowd use p4-clockmode, so I can use this computer with power supply also.
