I need a little help understanding this. Every joystick I throw at
Intrepid crashes X, so I don't see how the original bug is fixed. We
could make a new bug report for each joystick if that's what you really
want, but that would be quite a few bug reports since I have yet to find
a joystick that does work in Intrepid.

In Hardy, all my joysticks worked flawlessly. A regression happened
somewhere that doesn't allow me to use any joystick whatsoever in
Intrepid. If I use StR34k's xorg.conf the problem is fixed, however with
that xorg.conf if I boot without a joystick the mouse stops working
properly.

I'll start posting bug reports for individual joysticks if you want, but
I just don't see how that would make a difference when all joysticks
don't work. I would rather just try to help find where the regression is
and help you fix it so all joysticks work, not just the ones we file bug
reports for. They worked fine in Hardy so it shouldn't be too hard to
track down.

I apologize if I'm not understanding properly.
