Closing this one, since 1.10.1 in natty has all the memleaks fixed that were found with analyzer tools.
When the Xorg process shows taking a lot of memory, it's usually a rogue client or the display driver leaking, and the xserver is caching pixmap memory. This is not a bug in the xserver, and should be filed against the client or the driver.
