Comment 108 for bug 532047

hi, sorry if i post a question in a very old tread but i couldn't find an appropriate one for my problem that is the one described here but i have
ubuntu 12.04 precise-64 bit

i tried to open xorg.0.log.old but i need a software to open backup files... what i should use? (sorry i'm neubbie)

if this problem was already solved for my release please post the link to that discussion and i will try to solve my problem by myself
