I can confirm the patch works! X doesn't crash anymore using multimedia keyboard.
Maybe related, but still some keys are not working properly.
Key 'm' does generate KP_Insert
After pressing Numlock once:
Key 'm' does generate KP_0
After pressing Numlock again:
Key 'm' does generate m.
Same is valid for other keypad keys.
