2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.2 reverts the entire security update (to avoid confusion). A proper fix (which just came from upstream X.org) has tested well now, and is building. It should be published shortly (it will be version 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.3).
