Comment 13 for bug 161760

For testing, I have just compiled thrice without problems, with the original version plus the attached debdiff. Perhaps it is simply a problem with awk, which, afaics, its not part of the base installation (contrary to mawk and sed).

I'm not familiar at all with python, so I can't really judge if this is correct or not but I find it strange to have static libraries and libtool files in /usr/share/pycentral. Can you check with somebody who is knowledgeable about python and especially python extensions?
I've also noticed that lintian/linda complain about symlinked changelogs:
