Thanks for your fast answer. That sounds strange, perhaps can your attach the files created in your home folder when you copy these commands in a terminal?

dmesg > ~/dmesg.log
uname -a > ~/uname.log
lspci -nnvv > ~/lspci.log
cat /etc/usplash.conf > ~/usplash.conf
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst > ~/menu.lst
