I'm also using ipw2200. Whether it's a regression in the driver itself or in udev or hal, I cannot say due to lack of knowledge. What I do know is that this didn't happen with at least Dapper Flight 3. I can help track the problem but someone has to give me directions on how to provide the necessary information.
