it has nothing to do with that bug, but maybe it is in gstreamer as maybe totem passes the slider position to gstreamer and then it validates reading the number back and it come wrong from gstreamer. Only someone that knows totem can say for sure who is responsible for it. I'm back with totem-xine for the time being.
