I collect email from 3 different accounts.

I have two other accounts that have mail forwards placed on them so that they
forward to one of my 3 accounts that I collect mail from.

I need the ability to send email as one of five addresses. I've already voted
for this bug. Please show your support and vote for it.

Two of these accounts I do not directly collect the mail from and do not have an
associated incoming/outgoing server for them. The only way I could make
mozilla work for me was by directly editing the user.js file and making changes.

A simple drop down menu in the "From" field that has a list of email addresses
that can be added to would be really sweet. The mailer would use the default
account to send the mail but change the From field on the fly.
