I too want this feature. I've been cursing NS mail for years that I couldn't do
this! (I've changed my From address in preferences and keep forgetting to
change it back to my default.) Moz is better with multiple accounts, but not
quite what I need. I have used hundreds of unique addresses. I can't set up
fictitious accounts for all of them.

I just need to be able to edit the From address!
