OK, so this is to do with the changes in bug 906264; they don't play nicely with editable menulists on Linux (the editable menulist looks fine with them removed; there's also a good chance that they're causing problems on Mac too.) I don't know whether I should remove them or just file a bug to get them updated to work with editable menulists.
