swfdec0.8 (0.8.0-0ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (LP: #279207)
    - rework ActionScript function calls to improve performance
    - increase Flash version Swfdec reports to 9.0.999.0
    - implement flash.geom.Matriximplement flash.geom.Matrix
    - implement various native functions
    - add API to query Swfdec's version
    - rework rendering API to rely on Cairo's clipping instead
    - remove unused and broken swfdec_as_context_eval() API
    - Swfdec does no longer ship an icon
    - Transform and ColorTransform implemented
    - BitmapData partially implemented
    - simplify internal memory handling APIs
    - start porting the Gnash testsuite to Swfdec
    - lots of conformance fixes that make lots of Flash files work
    - new (de)compiler framework in vivified debugger
    - fullscreen support
    - handle focus properly
    - TextFields can now receive keyboard input
    - extend SwfdecAudio API to allow partially loaded streams and volume
      changes
    - the Sound object is now fully supported
    - rework loading of external resources to be more compatible
    - significant speedups to the Actionscript interpreter
    - noticable speedups to rendering infrastructure and new API that allows
      custom speedups
    - removed unmaintained ffmpeg, mad and OSS support
    - lots of TextField, correctness, performance and bugfixes
  * Update debian/rules, debian/*.install, debian/control and debian/watch
    to comply with new version file names (0.6 -> 0.8)
  * Remove debian/tmp/usr/share/icons/hicolor from libswfdec-0.8-0.install
    as no more icon is shipped (see above)

New packages are created (based on swfdec0.8). No need to add conflict/replace in control files as there is no common files (even icon files which may be common have been removed in swfdec0.8)
