I tried to install Java in Ubuntu using the instruction web pages. Unfortunately Ubuntu is Debian based and doesn't include rpm and for some reason won't load 'alien' so Java won't load manually into Ubuntu. Tried using the Ubuntu download wizard but mised the 'accept terms' prompt, my bad. The worse news is that now I have no way of installing Java.
