Comment 62 for bug 66104

I've been annoyed by this for quite a while. I'm running ubuntu 9.04 and have scim installed and have the x input method selected and the input keeps locking up very often. Right now I'm only running firefox, gnome-terminal and audacious. The input seems to lock up simply by alt-tabbing too quickly. I can enable input again by for example pressing my shortcut (shift+right) for next tab in gnome-terminal and then switching back to the previous one. I agree that this bug makes ubuntu look pretty bad for anyone who wants to type multiple languages.
