Is it possible to sum up things for non technical people?
What is responsible for this long standing bug ?

For instance i still can't add a space by pressing the space key in KeepNote (crossplatform pyGTK application).
Very annoying for french users. Please french users matter!

Besides the bug related to libgnomekbd package doesn't seem to be the good one
